Description :
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is present since 1992 in countries of the Caucasus, where multiple regional conflicts have generated tens of thousands of victims. The ICRC's specificity is highlighted through its traditional activities of protection of the civil population, visit to hostages and prisoners, repatriation, restoration of family links and dissemination of international humanitarian law. The film also briefly illustrates humanitarian assistance to all victims of war in the way of emergency relief or medical relief.
