Through the training program that the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has with the Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS), the aim is to train more people in basic first aid.
As a newly introduced means of transport, motorbikes can help evacuate injured people where other vehicles cannot access. As a result, combining the driving skills with the basic first aid training is making motorbike riders from the SRCS fully equipped to provide assistance.
