Description :
After surviving serious gunshot wounds in Uvira, South Kivu province, eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Aline is now doing better. She can now see her children grow up and develop her small business. She owes her survival and stable health to several surgical operations at the Bukavu General Hospital, where the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) supports a war surgery programme.
