Description : Suite à l’invasion turque du 20 juillet 1974, la Société nationale de la Croix-Rouge chypriote fait face à de nombreux défis. Avec l’aide du CICR et de plus de 600 volontaires, celle-ci œuvre à la recherche des personnes disparues, à l’approvisionnement en matériel médical ainsi qu’à la récolte de dons de sang. En outre, l’engagement des volontaires sur le terrain s’avère être primordial, sans qui cette situation d’urgence n’aurait pu être contenue de manière efficace.
