Description :
Hundreds of thousands have lost their lives or been forced from their homes during the recent conflict in Darlur. Despite the 2005 peace agreement, clashes between warring groups continue, terrorising local people. By keeping contact with all sides in the conflict, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is able to continue its relief work, treating war wounded, running mother and baby clinics and organising a massive vaccination campaign for camels sheep and goats, safeguarding the basic means of survival for the nomads of north Darfur.
