Description :
Erasmo Paredes Herrera orthopaedic centre in Managua: training of local personnel, manufacturing of prostheses with local materials (with appropriate technology), physical rehabilitation of patients with physiotherapists, group exercises, reintegration in social and professional life. The film follows a sixteen-year old young man, one of the many war victims in Nicaragua, who had one leg amputated, until he returns to professional life.
