Description :
Wa’ad Hassan Nayef Mounder lives in the Golan, (Ein Kunya village) between Israel and Syria. Her husband to be, Majed Hassan Nayef Mounder (from Raha, Seida region south of Damascus), lives a few miles away in Syria. But since the Golan was occupied by Israel in 1967, the two areas have been strictly cut off from each other, separated by a demilitarised buffer zone. When Wa’ad decided to marry and go and live with her husband, it meant leaving behind her parents, her sisters and closest friends. And facing the fact that she might never see them again.
