Description :
On the occasion of the Pan-African Conference in Dakar in November 1988 and to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Red Cross, the National Societies of Senegal and Mali, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), decided to organize a touring exhibition in a train : "The train of humanity". The film shows the train travelling from Dakar to Bamako and its reception by the local population along the way.
