On October 29, 2008, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake shook the province of Baluchistan in southwest Pakistan. In Ziarat district, villagers are trying to save what remains of their homes.
Mobile medical teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) are providing 3,209 consultations. Among the pathologies encountered, the main ones are respiratory infections, diarrhea and depression.
