Description :
A month after the ceasefire took effect in Gaza, residents are picking up the pieces of their lives, shattered by the 3 week conflict. Tens of thousands of people displaced in the fighting are living in makeshift shelters or with friends and relatives as they wait to see if and when they can return home. Meanwhile aid agencies such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) struggle to repair the power and water treatment plants that were severely damaged in the Israeli offensive.
