After three weeks of intense fighting that forced people to flee, families displaced by the fighting in Shijaiya, one of Gaza's poorest neighborhoods, are returning to see the extent of the damage. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) are working to rehabilitate the infrastructure, but this will take time and require resources beyond emergency aid.
