Three International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) staff members are still being held following their abduction in the north-western governorate of Idlib on 13 October, while bringing medical aid to two cities in the region. In this heartfelt appeal for their release, Magne Barth, the ICRC's head of delegation in Damascus, explains how their abduction has affected the organization's ability to deliver vital aid to people in need, and how much their families, who have also suffered the consequences of the Syrian conflict, hope to see them back safe and sound.
