Description :
On 10 November 2013 a devastating cyclone hit eastern Puntland, Somalia. It killed dozens of people, left hundreds homeless and wiped out a million head of livestock, on which the people of Puntland depend for survival. The ICRC is protecting and treating all the livestock that survived and has distributed food and relief to over 22,000 cyclone victims.
