During his first official trip to Iraq this week, ICRC president Peter Maurer visited a school in Amiriyat Al-Fallujah, near Baghdad, where people displaced by fighting in Al Anbar province have taken refuge. In this video, Mr Maurer explains his grave concern for the thousands of Iraqis who have fled their homes due to rising violence and insecurity, only to face new challenges, difficulties and hardships.
