The food security situation is deteriorating in South Sudan and Somalia. Mathias Frese, head of relief for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Eastern Africa, takes stock of the factors that have led to too many people suffering from lack of food. He describes what the ICRC, with our partners the South Sudan Red Cross and Somalia Red Crescent, is doing to help.
