Dr Enciso is one of the many courageous staff at the rural health unit in Eastern Samar. They are all trying to ensure that everyone has health care, despite the destruction caused by the typhoon. A year ago, her health unit was badly damaged. It was difficult to provide care in those conditions, but at the same time it was essential that no one be turned away.
A year on, the health unit is fully functional again, with new equipment and supplies.
