Description :
Communities on the border between South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo live in constant fear of attack by armed groups who seize their children and force them into their ranks. The children are often threatened, beaten and forced to commit atrocities. Some eventually manage to escape but end up far away from home. Recently the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) organised the return of a group of Congolese children from South Sudan and helped reunite a Sudanese family with their abducted daughter.
