Description :
Malaria is the leading cause of death in the Central African Republic (CAR). Since September 2011, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has been running a pilot project in Obo, in the south-east of the country, to combat this scourge. The idea is simple: diagnose the disease at the first sign of symptoms, administer anti-malarial treatment and ensure medical follow-up throughout the treatment, at no cost to the patient.
