Description :
The opening of Poipet post on the border enables Thais and Cambodians to meet and do business. For the International Committee of the Red Cross, it is the first time since 1975 that two teams of delegates, one coming from Aranyaprathet (Thailand) and the other one from Mongkol-Borei (Cambodia) were able to link up. On this occasion, two ICRC ambulances were transfered from Thailand to Cambodia in order to reinforce the logistical operation of the ICRC medical team working in Mongkol-Borei.
