Description :
Access to an already stressed health-care system in Syria is deteriorating further. Although we were recently able to deliver medical supplies to certain regions, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is calling on parties to the conflict to respect medical staff and facilities. Avril Patterson, our health coordinator in Syria, describes the harsh reality Syrians are facing.
