Description :
Violence and conflict cause physical wounds, but they also cause unseen mental wounds. Emotional, psychological and psychosocial suffering of victims is often overlooked, however it can be just as painful.
In this film, people who have gone through the trauma of rape, the disappearance of a close relative and repeated exposure to incidents of violence describe how they were affected. Through mental health and psychosocial support offered by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), they have found inner resources and new ways to cope with the traumatic effects of their experience.
