Description : For the second year in a row THE Port hackathon, hosted by CERN and Campus Biotech in Geneva, has been helping ICRC find solutions to identified challenges. Last year a team of great scientific minds took on the challenge of designing a new type of body bag that helps slow down the decomposition rate of bodies improving their identification. This year another team focused on designing a better airdrop bag for our operations of assistance from airplanes. This challenge was identified by ICRC and put up on RED Innovation, our online innovation platform, where it was seen by CERN who then decided to take it on!
