Description :
The civil war currently raging in Rwanda has caused an exodus of people who end up in camps in the north of the country. The Rwandese Red Cross, under International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) supervision, has set up an assistance programme: distribution of food (about 7,000 tons per month) and visit to detainees. But their is a risk of famine and desertification because the food is difficult to transport and the use of wood (heating, housing) is too big.
