While the war-torn city of Fallujah is deserted, the camps on the outskirts are struggling to cope with the influx of people seeking safety. ICRC is in on the ground in these camps providing much needed aid.
Alrededor de 85.000 personas huyeron de Faluya durante los enfrentamientos recientes en esa ciudad. Buscaron refugio en campamentos cercanos, como Amiriyat Al Faluya. Entre ellos se encuentran Fawziya, quien ya lleva un año en el campamento, y Abu Salam, quien debió abandonar todo lo que tenía para huir. Estamos trabajando en campamentos en las afueras de Faluya, entregando alimentos y otros artículos de primera necesidad a 40.000 personas en las últimas semanas.
