Description :
Since the end of November, fighting in Eastern Aleppo has caused tens of thousands of people to flee towards the Western side of the city. On 8th of December alone, it is reported that around 11,000 civilians, including an estimate number of 4,000 children, fled the eastern neighborhoods of eastern Aleppo city to western Aleppo city. The ICRC and SARC are on the ground and scaling up their response to help those displaced in recent violence, but the needs are massive, and the ongoing fighting and insecurity make aid deliveries and repairs difficult.
