Welcome to Prison Waterfront shanty town. It lies between a prison and a creek. Let’s take a walk together. It’s home to 2’500 people. This pile of shells is Periwinkle, an edible sea snail. It’s the main source of income for the people here.
Layers of mud and shells create the foundation of this town. Oil spillage and waste has polluted the water. The fishermen must travel 6 hours to reach clean water.
