Cambodia is one of the countries most affected by landmines in the world ; it has the highest proportion of landmine amputees.
Sophal (41) stepped on a mine when he was 18. He has been using a prosthetic leg since.
Villagers like Sophal live too far from any physical rehabilitation centre. The ICRC launched the first prosthetic and wheelchair repair van in Cambodia. This van transforms into a mobile repair centre in ten minutes !
