In 2014, the ICRC will continue to conduct large-scale construction works in penal colonies on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main goal is to provide prisoners, patients with tuberculosis, with the necessary conditions for treatment. Katia Lorenz, the head of the ICRC delegation in Kyrgyzstan, spoke about the program to combat tuberculosis and other projects that will be devoted to this year.
