Description : For more than 20 years, the families of around 10,700 missing people in the Western Balkans have been carrying a heavy burden of uncertainty. Families have the right to know the fate of their loved ones.
The main motif of the video is a dark cloud, labelled with the question “Where is he ?”, which is floating over families of missing persons in different situations of their everyday life. The cloud symbolizes the heavy burden of uncertainty families of the missing are carrying, even 20 years after the war ended. After human remains of the missing person are identified, the cloud rains out and gets brighter – the uncertain loss transforms into “common” mourning.
