Families of missing persons live with a kind of grief and pain unlike any other. They also have specific needs as a result of their loved one being missing. The ICRC launched a programme in Sri Lanka to help families of the Missing find some solace and address their needs. Through peer-to-peer support, family members of missing persons empathize with and support each other to overcome shared struggles together.
