Description : Evros delta on the Greek-Turkish border. There are 350 unidentified migrants in this region who lost their lives crossing this river.
The bodies of migrants found in the river are brought in the Alexandroupolia hospital.
Dr. Pavlidi explains the importance of documenting the personal belongings of migrants who have died, to help identify them. The ICRC provide support and training to greek forensic authorities in reconvering, analizing and identifying unidentified bodies.
