When people go missing, it causes unimaginable pain for their families. This is the sad fate of migrants crossing the Evros river in Greece.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provides support and workshops to the Greek forensic authorities in recovering, analysing, identifying and burying unidentified migrants. Around the world, thousands of people go missing every year while migrating. Finding out the fate of missing people is a humanitarian act.
