Description : Communities living along the Zimbabwean border with Mozambique continue to suffer from the effects of anti-personnel mines more than 30 years after they were laid. Since 2012, the ICRC has been working with the Zimbabwe Mine Action Centre (ZIMAC) to enhance the capacity and skills of its deminers to search for, clear and destroy anti-personnel mines in south-eastern Zimbabwe. As we commemorate the International Day of Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, that video clip provides insight into the lives of those affected and the challenge that remains.
