Description :
The intense fighting that raged for more than a year in the city of Abu Ajil (Salahuddin province, Iraq) resulted in massive displacement of people, as well as the destruction of homes and infrastructure. Today, returnees are struggling to rebuild their lives in relative normalcy. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is helping tens of thousands of people cope by providing food and other relief items.
