The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, Lorenzo Caraffi, explains how we work in Chile. In the country, the ICRC cooperates with the Chilean Red Cross in various areas, such as first aid and restoring family links. It also encourages implementation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) by the armed forces and support implementation of International Human Rights Law (IHRL) and the humanitarian principles applicable to the law enforcement community.
