Description :
It's three months since the fighting in Marawi began. The hospital compound in Tamparan, east of Lake Lanao, coped with an influx of evacuee patients, many of whom suffered from diarrhea due to unfiltered water from the river.
With the Philippine Red Cross, the ICRC set up a water treatment unit in the hospital compound to make sure patients are drinking clean water. The ICRC also continues to support the hospital by providing much-needed medical supplies.
