On the occasion of an exhibition highlighting the anguish of families whose loved ones have been missing in connection with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict organized to mark 25 years of the ICRC's presence in the region, Christoph Bierwirth, representative of the UNHCR in Armenia, notes how the ICRC delegation "plays a crucial role in keeping up humanitarianism and humanitarian law and addressing the needs of civilian victims of armed conflicts”.
