Ismail, 37 years old, lost his right leg below the knee in an attack in 2004. He lives in the outskirts of Fallujah. He used to work as a daily worker in construction, but after the attack he stopped due to his condition. Also, he lives in a rented house as his own house was destroyed due to shelling during the military operations. His cousin looks after him.
