Description : Advanced IHL Learning Series 5.

Speakers : Andrew Clapham, Professor, Graduate Institute for International and development Studies.

IHL and human rights law do not have the same roots. While they are still linked, they follow their respective aims and logics. Watch this video for more insights.

This video was filmed during the 2017 edition of the Advanced Seminar in IHL for University Lecturers co-organized by the ICRC and the Geneva Academy. The opinions expressed by the lecturers in the series are theirs alone, and not necessarily shared by the ICRC.
