Mogadishu, Somalia, 1988. Almost 4000 prisoners of war from Ogaden conflict between Somalia and Ethiopia were releasend and repatriated. Judy Owen was a member of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) surgical team that was deployed to Mogadishu. The ICRC together with the Somalia Red Crescent provided medical and surgical assistance to wounded combatants
