Description : Espungabera town in Mozambique has been without electricity since Cyclone Idai. Without power, water could not be pumped to the water treatment and distribution plant. The International Committee of the Red CRoss (ICRC) sent a generator from Nairobi to Espungabera. But getting it to the pumping station was not easy. The pumping station is at the bottom of a steep hill and the generator wighs 2.5 tons. With the generator, access to water was restored to about 10000 people.
