It was a day in 2017 that Dario disappeared. No one has ever heard of hil since and his body is nowhere to be found. His grandmother and his wife are still searching.
For many families, the disappearance of a relative changes their lives forever. They are left constantly searching. For some, it is a constant struggle to make ends meet.
More than 4,000 people are registered with the International Committe of the Red Cross (ICRC) as missing in South Sudan. In 2019, the ICRC reunited 181 people with their families. The true scale of people missing in South Sudan from the conflict is not known.
