Description : Days, months, decades. What is it like not to know if your close relative is alive or dead ? Across the world, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) stand with families of people who went missing because of conflict, violence, migration and natural disasters. Everyone has the right to know the fate of their relatives.
In the South Caucasus region, over 25,000 people continue to live hoping to receive news about the fate of their over 4500 relatives who have gone missing in relation to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict of the 1990s. For each person missing, there is a family waiting.
