Description :
Here are two stories of women from Armenia and Azerbaijan. Their brothers went missing in the 90s, in relation to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. To alleviate the pain of waiting, one of them has been writing letters to her mother on brother’s behalf for years. The other woman chose to write down her sweet memories of the missing brother which were later published in a book.
In the South Caucasus region, over 25,000 people continue to live hoping to receive news about the fate of their over 4500 relatives who have gone missing in relation to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict of the 1990s. For each person missing, there is a family waiting.
