How much do you know about the humanitarian situation in Burkina Faso?
270,000 people have been displaced. 1.2 million people are food insecure. 500,000 people have very little or no access to health care. Roads are not safe. Insecurity prevents people from getting medical treatment. Because of the violence, many people who are sick stay at home and die.
In August 2019, more than 120 medical centres in rural areas were closed or left barely functioning.
