Its role is especially important for visiting people detained due to a conflict and making sure they are treated humanely.
Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies. The Red Cross or Red Crescent society of your country can provide first aid trainings or collect blood donations. These are examples of how its staff and volunteers work in times of war and peace. Their support is particularly needed to elderly and disabled people as well as migrants.

Three whales of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement work independently but in close coordination and are always ready to give each other a hand.
