Description :
After months of negotiations, 62 Iraqi prisoners of war and 102 Iranian prisoners of war and civilians were repatriated under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in conformity with Article. 110 of the Third Convention. All of them were senously wounded or sick persons whose health required their repatriation, which was organized in three airlifts between Teheran and Baghdad, via Larnaca airport (Cyprus), on 16 June, 25 August and 15 December.
