Description :
An outbreak of COVID-19 in a prison could be devastating to the population there, especially an overcrowded prison where general health is already low. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is supporting authorities in three ways :
1. Preventing coronavirus entering detention.
2. Helping apply hygiene rules.
3. Triage and care for prisoners with symptoms.
ICRC also train staff, visitors and prisoners so they better meet the risks of coronavirus.
