Description :
Six years of conflict in the Donbas region of Ukraine has put a huge strain on the infrastructure and health system. Hospitals are operating with an unreliable water and electricity supply. For patients requiring intensive care and ventilators this is a matter of life and death. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has been helping hospitals to respond to COVID-19 by providing them with medical equipment and pharmaceuticals as well as generators and tanks to guarantee a constant supply of power and water.
