Description :
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) donated 20 tonnes of essential items for health care, hygiene and sanitation to the Directorate General of Prison (DGP) at the Correctional Centre 1 (CC1) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The donation, which was honorably attended by H.E. Chan Kimseng, Director-General of DGP and H.E. Nuth Savna, the DGP’s spokesperson, has been carried out to support the national authorities, in particular the Directorate General of Prisons (DGP), in their efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in detention facilities.
